The goal of Randy Smith Sings was to provide aspiring musicians both vocal and piano many different resources to help them improve their musical skills. On this page you will find free resources for different piano drills and tips that have helped me in playing piano.
Piano Resource #2: This will build on the technique I showed you last week. This week instead of doing octave jumps we will do octave to chord. Remember and watch your finger. And don’t do simple jumps but hit the octave and bring you’re arm up like you are forming the curve in the Letter in and then hit the chord.

Piano Resource 1#this week we have provided a free practice resource, that will help you in learning the distances in the different octaves. This helped me in not looking at the left hand when my left hand had to jump a distance in a piece of music, this is foundational for the next practice sheet that we will provide. This drill uses the muscle memory and teaches your entire arm, hands and fingers the distances between each octave. Click on the link or download it and print the page.
