Welcome to Music in the Desert Studios, I’m glad you have stopped into see what all the talk is about. Here at “MITDS” (Music In The Desert Studios) my desire is to encourage those young and old to persue music. You may wonder why I titled my blog and my studio “Music in the Desert” well simply because of these following reasons, I live in the desert, but it goes deeper than that. My first goal here at MITDS is to show everyone the talent that can lie in the most unexpected places. We have talented musicians and vocalists here in the High Desert,both young and old, in a place where you wouldn’t expect them to be. Secondly, I wanted to provide free resources to those who may have some challenges in the progress of their music education; things that may have discouraged me as I learned how to sing and play piano. Thirdly, I wanted to provide a place for everyday music students, when trying to find different types of musical pieces. I know it can be frustrating when you are trying to locate certain sheet music and it doesn’t seem to show up, I will try to the best of my ability to find difficult pieces of music and list them on the Sheet Music Resources page; I will also be listing music that I have personaly wrote and we be available to buy. There are many other things I plan to use this blog for, but feel free to comment please lets discuss music as well.
